Day 1: Arrival Kigali Airport

You will be personally met by our driver/ guide at the Kigali airport and transfers you to Kigali Serena Hotel (Lodge facility) or Okapi Hotel (Budget facility) for refreshment, relaxation and overnight stay. Meal Plan Dinner

Day 2: Kigali City Tour –Parc Volcanoes Rwanda

After breakfast take on a city tour that will also take you around the genocide sites. Lunch break then drive north to Kinigi via Ruhengeri. The 2 hour drive goes through beautiful hillsides that Rwanda has become well known for. Dinner and overnight stay at Gorilla Nest Lodge (Lodge facility) or Kinigi Guest House (Budget facility) Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Parc Volcanoes National Park

After a briefing from your guide set off to track the gorillas. Spend an hour in awe watching the Gorillas go about their activities. You are likely to enjoy close views of adults feeding, grooming and resting as youngsters frolic and swing from vines in a delightfully playful display. Return to your lodge for overnight and dinner. Day 4: Parc Volcanoes – Uganda Kisoro

Early morning trek to Dian Fossey’s grave that is on Mt. karisimbi and Karisoke before later transferring to Uganda for dinner and an overnight stay at Gorilla Safari Lodge (Lodge facility) or Rushaga Gorilla camp (Budget facility) Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 5: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking

Begin the day with breakfast ready for trekking, which begins at 8:00 a.m with a briefing from the UWA staff. Ensure to carry along with you rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots etc The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. There are now only 650 left in the world! The tracking
may take between 2 and 6 hours but it’s well worth the effort. Time permitting, spend the afternoon is spent on a village walk. The Village Walk gives you a great opportunity to see how the people surrounding Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. It also is a great way to support the local community in a direct way. The Walk begins with your guide at your Lodge and is most informative, rewarding Dinner and an overnight stay at Rushaga Gorilla Lodge/Chameleon Hill Lodge/Gorilla Safari Lodge. Day 6: Today is dedicated for relaxation and sightseeing around the lodge

Dinner and an overnight stay at Rushaga Gorilla Lodge/Chameleon Hill Lodge/Gorilla Safari Lodge. Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 7: Mgahinga NP-Lake Bunyonyi Islands (Kabale)

Early morning visit the Golden Monkeys in the thick and cold jungles of Mgahinga National park. The activity is very adventurous. You will also encounter a lot of other primates plus countless beautiful bird species. After lunch, the afternoon is dedicated for relaxation and sightseeing. Thereafter drive to Lake Bunyonyi via Kabale a region popularly known by many tourists as the ‘Switzerland of Africa’. You will be taken by the scenery of winding road, hills and valleys, terraced landscape and friendly big people. Dinner and overnight at Bunyonyi Safari Resort (Lodge facility)or Bunyonyi Birdnest Bunyonyi Resort (Budget facility) Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 8: Lake Bunyonyi Islands

The day begins with a boat trip for sightseeing and birding along Lake Bunyonyi. Feel the wonders of nature as you will see big terraced hills, big valleys, big everything including big people and forests! Return to the camp for lunch. After lunch ready for a guided nature walk and cultural visit to the Batwa Pygmies community to explore their life style. Day 9: Lake Bunyonyi Islands – Queen Elizabeth National Park

After Breakfast embark on your drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Ishaka. Make a stop over to the wilderness Ishasha sector inside the bush in search of rare African climbing lions and other game before proceeding to Queen, arriving late evening. Check in at Mweya Safari Lodge (Lodge facility) or Ihamba Safari Lodge (Budget facility). Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 10: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Begin your day with a cup of coffee. Early morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queens Mile makes visitors encounter elephants, buffalo, water bucks, warthogs, lions, Uganda Kobs lakes and a variety of birds. Return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch. After lunch, a two hour boat trip along the famous Kazinga channel is worthwhile an opportunity to see Hippo, Buffalo, Kobs, Elephants, warthogs etc. This trip also enables visitor chance to see spectacular birds. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/Park view Lodge/Bush Lodge. Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 11: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Kibale National Park

With previous day’s memories enjoys your breakfast ready for guided primate walk along Kyambura Gorge to look for habituated chimps through the gorge. After primate walk, drive to Kasese for Lunch, Enjoy the winding scenery of the foot hills of Mt. Rwenzori arriving in Fort Portal for Overnight and dinner at Ndali Lodge/Papaya Kibale Lodge/Kibale Forest Camp. Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 12: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Walk Kibale.

After early breakfast, report at Kanyanchu Tourist Centre where tourist activities begin and set out to track chimpanzee in the forest. Chances of viewing the chimps are over 90% but not a guarantee. Kibale National Park is one of the beautiful and stunning forests in the Uganda. It is home to our closest living relatives the endangered Chimpanzee, the threatened Red colobus monkey and the rare L’Hoest’s monkey. The forest also boasts of having one of the highest diversity and density of primates in Africa totaling 13 species including the Black and white colobus, Blue monkey, Grey-cheeked mangabey, Red tailed monkey and Bush babies and Pottos.

After lunch visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary from where you will take on a guided walk around the Swamp which will provide you with the opportunity to see a wide range of flora and fauna. View a variety of butterflies, birds and other insects. Have a tour of the crater region around Ndali lodge. You may also stop over at any tea plantation along the road if you wish. Day 13: Kibale National Park – Murchison Falls National Park

After a cup of coffee, ready for a drive to Murchison falls National Park, through large farms and large plantations and country side villages. Lunch break in Hoima, continue with a drive to Murchison as you enjoy the scenery of the green vegetation of the rift. Arrive in Murchison and later cross the ferry to the Northern side for overnight and dinner at Paraa Safari Lodge/Chobe Safari Lodge/Pakuba Lodge/Fort Murchison. Day 14: Murchison Falls National Park

Begin the day with a cup of African Coffee ready for an early morning game drive. Your guide will help you spot Elephant, Lion, Cape buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffe, hartebeest, Waterbuck, Oribi, Bushbuck,  Bohor reedbuck, hyena and if you are lucky, the leopard. Return to the hotel for breakfast and lunch. In the afternoon you make a boat trip towards the Murchison Falls. Carefully watch out for crocodiles, hundreds of hippos, buffaloes, water birds, apes and all the other thirsty wildlife that the Nile attracts you go to the bottom of the 43 meters high and famous Murchison Falls, which approaches you with a thunderous sound. After the boat trip, your driver/guide will be waiting for you to bring you back to the lodge. This is also a zone of many bird species like Goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant. Overnight and dinner at Paraa Safari Lodge/Chobe Safari Lodge/Pakuba Lodge/Fort Murchison. Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 15: Murchison Falls National Park – Entebbe

Wake up at 6:00am prepared to take a photograph of the African rising sun in the morning and enjoy African breakfast. Drive to the spectacularly situated site at the top of the falsl where you can see the Nile’s beauty perfected!!  Marvel at the Nile, compressing from up to 1 km squeeze through a 7 meter canyon dropping 45 meters with a thunderous roar creating a beautiful rainbow, a plume of spray and the best thing that happened to the Nile…”the Murchison Falls “. Enjoy the sunrise. Continue to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino trekking is a must and lunch. Later drive back to Kampala. Overnight at Protea Hotel Entebbe/Boma Hotel/Lake Victoria Hotel/2 Friends Entebbe. Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 16: Entebbe Out

Today is dedicated is for airport transfers to catch up your flight back home or to your next destination Meal Plan Breakfast and Lunch.
